WCEP - Wisconsin Character Education Partnership promotes the intentional proactive effort by educators to instill in all Wisconsin’s students, core universal ethical values such as integrity, honesty, fairness, responsibility, and respect for themselves and for others through character education. WCEP partners with Alverno College to support professional development for teachers in its unique year-long cohort, LACCS.
Character.org - Character.org is an organization of passionate people advocating for integrity, honesty, respect, and other core ethical values to be fused into education for the betterment of our nation. Character.org has created comprehensive tools for educators including a free resource, the 11 Principles of Effective Character Education. "These guidelines can help improve your school climate and develop students of strong character - inspiring them to do well and do good."
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Resources for SEL - The SEL portal of the DPI website contains conferences, workshops, webinars and other great resources.
Excellence with Integrity - "The Institute for Excellence & Ethics (IEE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building intentional cultures and essential competencies of Excellence with Integrity." This site provides research-based learning resources for athletics, education and career readiness.
