Alverno Forum Will Explore Dynamics Affecting Urban Education

Alverno College is hosting a forum on urban education. The vibrant discussion will include prominent stakeholders from across the local education landscape, including districts, charters, choice settings, organizations and nonprofits. The conversation will include identifying and advancing distinct and interrelated dynamics affecting urban education including equity, poverty, inclusion, achievement, leadership and more.

Presenters include:

  • Krysta DeBoer, executive director, Center for Urban Teaching
  • Lisa Elliott, superintendent, School District of Greenfield
  • Stephanie Maney, director of Leadership Development, Schools That Can Milwaukee
  • Latish Reed, equity specialist in the Office of Innovation and Information, Milwaukee Public Schools
  • Patricia Neudecker, director of Administrative Leadership, Alverno College

The Alverno Forum series seeks to join community leaders in discussing cutting-edge topics that have a daily impact on the lives of people in our community and beyond.
