Alverno Donates Protective Gear to Ascension Wisconsin
With hospitals facing a shortage of face masks, gloves, and other supplies due to the coronavirus pandemic, the faculty in the JoAnn McGrath School of Nursing and Health Professions decided to donate the personal protective equipment (PPE) they had on hand to Ascension Wisconsin. In all, 30 gowns, 450 masks, and nine cases of gloves were donated. 12 News, Fox 6, CBS 58, Today's TMJ4, Spectrum News 1 and WTMJ Radio all ran stories on the donation. If you have PPE that you would like to donate, hospitals ask that you please call to find out how to give rather than taking items directly to the hospital.
