Mental Health Summit Presenter Bio

Samantha Schams, LP, CSAC, PhD, completed her master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her doctorate in Counseling Psychology. She is a licensed psychologist and clinical substance abuse counselor (CSAC). She specializes in dual diagnosis- substance use and mental health concerns. She utilizes third wave cognitive behavioral therapy strategies and emphasizes meeting people where they're at in recovery. She has found that every client is doing their best but needs guidance to make their effort the most productive that it can be.
