As part of Women's History Month, Spectrum News profiled Sister Joel Read, a woman whose influence was felt far beyond Alverno. Peg Rauschenberger, Dean Emerita of the JoAnn McGrath School of Nursing and Health Professions, was interviewed because of her unique perspective - she was a student during Sister Joel's presidency, and she later joined the faculty and had the opportunity to work with her.
