Alverno Community Conference Will Focus on Preparing Students to Thrive in an AI World
Alverno College will host its annual Community Conference on Wednesday, April 30. This year’s topic is “Preparing Students to Thrive in an AI World,” and participants will explore the connection between competency-based education and the use of generative AI in the classroom, and how we can best prepare students for success.
The event will include an expert panel featuring:
- Idella Kangas, PhD, Director, Universities of Wisconsin’s Office of Economic and Employer Engagement
- Dr. Syneathia LaGrant, EdD, ’07, Vice President, Global Head of Talent and Development, ManpowerGroup
A student panel will follow, and the day will conclude with a culminating discussion.
