BIOGRAPHY
Judeen Schulte, OSF, is a professor of Nursing at Alverno College where she has taught since 1980. A registered nurse, Schulte has shared her passion for nursing with Alverno students in the classroom and on annual trips to Japan’s Tokyo Women's Medical University. She also served as a visiting professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
In addition to her nursing expertise, Schulte has given presentations on Alverno’s abilities-based curriculum across the country, as well as around the world. She has also served as a consultant to several universities here and abroad on performance assessment, student learning and abilities-based curricula. A lover of travel, Schulte also served as the director of Alverno’s Study Abroad program for eight years.
Schulte earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Alverno College, her Master of Science in Community Health Nursing from Boston University, and her doctorate in Nursing from the University of Colorado. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Wisconsin Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau, Delta Gamma Chapter. She serves in leadership roles on the board of the Guest House of Milwaukee and Clement Manor.
